Arley G. Jaramillo, MD
Arley G. Jaramillo, M.D. is a vitreoretinal surgeon at EyeCare 20/20 with extensive experience in macular hole repair, retinal detachment repair, and membrane removals. His experience with trauma and referred complications earned him the opportunity to bring his skills to the Veterans Administration and to later become an investigator with the CLEVER Eye Institute. Dr. Jaramillo is a Tulane Medical Center surgical fellowship trained ophthalmologist with expertise in vitreoretinal disease and surgery. He graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico with a bachelor’s degree in Science and Biology, where he was part of the MARC U*star Honor Program (sponsored by the National Institutes of Health). He completed his medical training at the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico.
